Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter

Protecting Park City’s natural landscape – and our greater global environment – takes commitment to addressing both current and future issues.  The Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter is dedicated to precisely that.  Through a wide range of environmental education programs that serve nearly 25,000 people annually, we hope to inspire the next generation of environmental stewards that will work to protect both people and planet.  The organization encompasses a LEED Platinum certified environmental science center with interactive exhibits and a 1,200 acre nature preserve that protects rare and critical habitat as well as the sensitive wildlife species that use it.  With nearly ten miles of trails, the Preserve offers an opportunity to find both adventure and solace, which we find particularly important during these trying times.  The Preserve also acts as a field laboratory where the staff team and partners research innovative solutions to regional environmental problems.  This research, conservation, outreach, and education is all made possible by community supporters like you.  With your support, now more important than ever, you keep the magic of nature alive for future generations.
