Summit County Clubhouse

Summit County Clubhouse (SCC) is a powerful demonstration of the fact that adults with mental illness can and do lead healthy productive lives as integrated members of the community.  SCC runs on the established and evidence-based Clubhouse International model, which has a proven record in reducing hospitalizations, incarcerations and homelessness. Clubhouses are communities of people who believe that work and work-mediated relationships are restorative and provide a firm foundation for growth and important individual achievement.

A person living with mental illness needs a safe space to build self-confidence, establish positive personal relationships and learn valuable vocational and social skills. SCC is a supportive, recovery-based organization that offers opportunities for paid employment in the community, education, health and wellness, friendship and access to other important resources in a single caring and safe environment. With your ongoing support, SCC can provide free Clubhouse services to any Summit County adult with a history of mental illness.
