Recycle Utah

Two hundred tons. That’s how much material Recycle Utah keeps out of the Summit County landfill each and every month. Reaching far beyond the paper and plastic items you can recycle curbside, Recycle Utah accepts hard-to-recycle items like polystyrene, ski equipment, e-waste and batteries, ensuring that toxic waste stays out of our landfills, groundwater, and drinking water. What’s more, its innovative building materials reuse warehouse takes construction and demolition items that would typically get dumped—including everything from old lumber to major appliances—and sells them to the public at screaming-good prices. And, with local education programs that reach more than 7,500 students annually, Recycle Utah ensures that the next generation of Park City residents will continue to protect and preserve the community we love. It’s all part of their mission to make Park City a truly sustainable and environmentally safe place to work, live, and play. But, it’s only possible with help from generous people like you. With your support, Recycle Utah can continue to be our community’s environmental guardian for many years to come.
