Studies show that sex education works, helping young adults wait longer to begin intimate relationships, and empowering them with the information they need to avoid teen pregnancy and dangerous sexually transmitted diseases. With the foundation of providing medically accurate, age-appropriate information, Planned Parenthood Association of Utah addresses both the emotional and physical aspects of human sexual behavior, while continually protecting and advocating for the reproductive rights of every person. Beyond providing sex education, the organization also offers affordable, high-quality reproductive health care services across the state with our eight health centers and eleven rural contract providers. Our Teen Council peer education program reaches hundreds of individuals in Summit and Wasatch Counties each year and our LiFT program (Linking Families and Teens) reaches out the rural areas of the county to reach many underserved low-income families. Bringing these services to our community requires generous funding from private donors and sponsors. With your support, Planned Parenthood Association of Utah can help us create a community where sexual and reproductive rights are basic human rights, where access to health care doesn't depend on who you are, and where every individual has the opportunity to choose their own path to a healthy and meaningful life.
