Imagine what today would be like if you struggled with reading. Dyslexia is the most common reason for a student to have difficulty reading, writing, and spelling. Thankfully, PC READS is here to raise awareness about dyslexia and elevate literacy in every affected student. Their Certified Advocates assist families with ensuring that children receive services and support needed to become successful students and confident individuals. Through the MIND Youth Program, students of all learning abilities can build self-advocacy skills and self-esteem. PC READS also serves educators by offering Professional Development Scholarships that will bring them one step closer to furthering their own knowledge about reading. After years of advocacy, PC READS is proudly partnering with private donors on the Park City School District’s Dyslexia Initiative, which includes implementing Wilson Fundations® at all elementary schools. This reading program successfully helps all students by providing critical foundational skills through systematic and explicit instruction.
