If you’ve seen an intriguing foreign film in Park City or met a new filmmaker at a local panel discussion, you can probably thank Park City Film for your experience. With its mission to create community through film, Park City Film provides year-round screenings of independent, foreign, and documentary films; hosts post-film Q&As and panel discussions to deepen community dialogue; and provides opportunities for emerging filmmakers to showcase their work. The organization also shares the power of cinema arts with our community’s young people, offering a special Books 2 Movies series that promotes literacy and a Foreign Cinema...For Kids! program that introduces students to foreign languages and culture. But the education doesn’t stop there. Park City Film also hosts film-based fundraisers and free community screenings for local nonprofits, helping bring vital community issues to the forefront of our collective consciousness. 

As an independent art house cinema, Park City Film relies on the support of generous film patrons to keep ticket prices affordable and to bring independent cinema and filmmaking to young people who wouldn’t otherwise be exposed to it.
