Mountain Mediation Center

From our snow-peaked slopes to neighborhood walking trails, everyone here is connected through relationships. But even in a tightknit community like ours, friction is bound to happen—which can send families and businesses into a tailspin. Mountain Mediation Center (MMC) exists to help our residents turn conflict into progress—and bring harmony back to our community. As a mediation and facilitation organization, MMC gives residents the tools to prevent and resolve disputes such as professional mediation, conflict resolution training, and restorative justice—an effective method for getting victims and offenders to work together to repair harm and to prevent further harmful behavior. MMC offers all their services on a sliding scale so that everyone can afford to mend their relationships, become better communicators, and avoid costly litigation. Plus, all services are available in Spanish, which increases accessibility to these necessary programs and services. With your contribution, MMC can continue to restore peace in our residents’ lives—and foster open, compassionate communication throughout Summit and Wasatch Counties.
