The people of Park City are the backbone of our community. From young families to seasonal residents to elderly neighbors, each person contributes to the vitality of Park City. That’s why Jewish Family Service (JFS) is committed to supporting people of all denominations and generations through counseling, advocacy, care management, and community education. To address mental health, JFS provides affordable counseling through licensed professional therapists to individuals, couples, and families struggling with depression, grief, and other emotional challenges. Because all services are on a sliding fee scale, everyone who needs help is seen, regardless of their ability to pay. And to care for families in crisis, the JFS Family Safety Net program offers emergency assistance funds and a food pantry to those facing financial uncertainty and food insecurity. The well-being of Park City’s senior adults is also supported through the Music & Memory program, which enables those with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia to reconnect with the world through music-triggered memories. In addition, the Care Management Program helps seniors and their families navigate through the complicated journey of aging. Caregiver Support Groups allow a safe space for participants to face the challenges of caring for a loved one. When you lend your support to JFS, you have the potential to touch the lives of so many in Park City. You won’t just be bettering a person or family, but our entire community.  Though this time, when we are all facing the challenges of this pandemic, JFS has been able to provide all programs and services virtually.
