Immigrant Legal Services

From cultural traditions to art and cuisine, our immigrant residents add such valuable diversity to Park City. Yet these men, women, and their families are also some of our town’s most vulnerable. Immigrants in our community long to become forever citizens, but many of them can’t afford the legal services to make that happen. And unfortunately, many more fall victim to immigration scams in the process. Immigrant Legal Services (ILS) works to ensure that individuals and families can experience benefits such as a driver’s license, a steady job, and a pathway toward citizenship—at rates each person is able to afford. ILS supports a variety of other cases, including victims of violent crimes, unaccompanied children, and green cards for family members. Through generous donations and grants, ILS provides these pro bono or low bono services, along with free education to the public including seminars on immigrant rights and citizenship clinics. By supporting ILS, you’re providing more than funding for legal services. You’re granting the security and freedom every one of these residents deserves to build a foundation for themselves and for future generations of Parkites.
