Holy Cross Ministries
Holy Cross Ministries (HCM) serves economically disadvantaged and marginalized families in Utah. Sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Cross and founded in 1875 on the belief that everyone in our community deserves a bright future, HCM provides health outreach, early childhood education, legal aid, and trauma-informed counseling throughout Summit County and beyond. HCM proudly offers its programs without regard to ethnicity, age, faith, gender, religious affiliation, ability to pay, or any other defining characteristic. HCM remains fully committed to serving those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath. Its ongoing efforts and services include:
- Connecting at-risk families to food pantries and access to other basic essentials (diapers, personal care items, clothing, etc.)
- Offering trauma-informed Skype counseling sessions
- Holding Zoom preschool classes
- Administering interactive and educational virtual "home visits" to families with children ages zero to three
- Healthcare system and benefits navigation assistance over the phone, connecting clients to available testing services for COVID-19
- Victim advocacy assistance over the phone
- Conducting legal immigration intakes via phone
- Providing 2020 Census support
All of this is made possible by generous donors like you. With your ongoing support, HCM can ensure that all our neighbors live healthy, happy lives.
